Gen. Hatch Sivkil
As Earth's most qualified 7-star general, Sivkill was
the obvious choice to serve as military escort for the mission. It was on
his advice that the colony location was moved from Mars to the surface of
the sun. "No dark corners for enemies to hide in there," he explained.
Sivkill may have a gruff, military exterior, but a look inside would
reveal he actually has a heart of titanium, wired with a small neutron bomb;
"just in case."
