Lunch Break was made in Philadelphia, PA over the weekend of March 19-21, 2004 as part of the 48 Hour Film Project, in which competing teams of filmmakers are given 48 hours to make a 4-8 minute film incorporating a list of assigned elements, including a character, prop, line of dialogue, and genre.

Here is what we had to work with:

Genre – Musical or Western

Line of Dialogue – “Get a move on, there’s no time to lose.”

Character – M. Drake, Magician

Prop – Rolodex of Cards
