Joy is the winner of 6 consecutive wet t-shirt contests in Peanut, CA and an avid roller blader. She met Dr. Randy Shrader, a NASA scientist, in late July, 3 weeks before the Earth was diagnosed to explode. When Joy heard of the planet's inevitable peril she insisted that she be placed on the spacecraft. Four nights on the couch later, Randy agreed and the mission had gained a Breeder.
